The main aim of my research is to investigate the intersection of experimental economics and asset pricing. More specifically, the aim is to develop a series of continuous time experiments that will test a variety of asset pricing phenomena. The issues examined will include: (1) asset price contagion, (2) the effect of price deviation from asset fundamentals (bubbles) on the trading strategy and profitability of experiment participants and (3) the effect of various market frictions such as leverage and short selling constraints on prices. The experiments aim to replicate as closely as possible a laboratory version of a real market.
