I’m interested in the proximal factors that drive decision-making in social dilemmas, with a specific focus on the role of power, social cues and social values. I also aim to gain more insight into the underlying neural mechanisms by which these factors affect choice behavior in social dilemmas. In order to achieve this, I make use of experimental games and fMRI techniques. Additionally, I’m interested in evolutionary accounts of prosocial behavior and in the role of bounded rationality within such accounts.
